Ford Aerostar Transmission

Aerostar transmission is a device that helps in transferring rotary energy to
the car's engine. There are two types of transmission, these are the manual transmission
and the automatic transmission. Transmission is said to be manual if it features
a driver operated clutch and gear selector. Manual transmission is also called
as stick shift or standard transmission but other called it as dual clutch transmission,
as being used in automotive applications. In manual Transmission, the first clutch
acts to transmit torque to the first driven gear, while the second clutch transmits
torque to the second driven gear. This is the type of transmission that needs
driver's input.
But cars manual transmission was control in October 2002. On the other hand,
Automatic transmission can change gear ratios smoothly, without requiring the
driver to shift gears manually as in the manual transmission. Automatic Transmission
can make getting into gear very fast, and make extremely fast, smooth shifts.
Driving a car smoothly is so exciting. It could downshift and upshift the car
even without the driver's input. A vehicle with automatic transmission makes the
internal equipment better as compared to other vehicle without it.
Due to constant developments and progressive studies, another type of transmission
was realized and added. Since the purpose of the study is to discover better car
transmission, the discovery of new type of transmission is the answer. The newly
discovered transmission is the electronically controlled clutchless manuals. The
electronically controlled transmission shows CVT. Traditional Manual Transmissions
or CVT, like automatic transmission, varies the space between belt or pulleys,
the wheels or cones, so that it will alter the gear ratio smoothly. Thus making
the car drives faster and smoother. This type of transmission is present in most
Ford Aerostar's models nowadays.
