Used Ford Aerostar
Ponycar is the term used after the popularity of the Ford Mustang, when other
manufacturers came out with product to compete with Ford's surprise success. The
Mustang, along with the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, have been the most
popular and longest-lasting ponycars. These ponycars are also known as occasional
vehicles. Used vehicles are also known as Custom vehicles. These Custom vehicles
are the type of vehicle, most commonly one from 1949 through the middle '60s,
that has been restyled or undergo improvements.
Most Ford Aerostar's Custom
cars undergo modifications. Mild customs feature only least styling modifications.
While more radical customs feature a chopped top, smoothed body panels, slammed
suspension and often repainting. Michigan Legislature introduced a bill that covers
the use of historic vehicles. The bills, states that the use of the occasional
vehicle is said to be limited to club activities, tours or parades and exhibitions.
